I have been following the history of MOL Campus since its very first announcement, and although I did not receive a specific assignment at the beginning, I tried to capture the early phases of the construction by visiting its vicinity. In the summer of 2021, I had the opportunity to enter the construction site for the first time thanks to the collaboration of Hydrastat. From then on, I visited the building several times in its various stages, until finally, I photographed the fully completed MOL Campus on behalf of Finta Stúdió. MOL Campus entered the history of Budapest as a unique milestone, as it is the first building in the city to exceed 100 meters in height. The 120-meter-high, 28-story tower brought a new perspective to the cityscape and also became the embodiment of modern office architecture. The building was designed by the world-renowned London-based Foster + Partners, in collaboration with the Hungarian Finta Stúdió. The uniqueness of the Campus lies not only in its size, but also in the way the workspaces, green spaces and community zones fit together organically. When photographing the building in use, I tried to emphasize these aspects.
